Animals brought in by Animal Control or private citizens running loose are subject to a 4-day stray hold, after which they become property of the shelter and can be placed. Owner surrendered animals may be eligible for placement immediately pending medical/temperament evaluation. All adopted animals will be spayed/neutered prior to release.
